Melanie Banal, NP-C is a certified doctor of nurse practice with over 10 years of diverse experience in medicine. Her focus is on promoting a healthy living style and management of healthcare problems.
Melanie began her career in healthcare at SIHF Healthcare and HSHS Medical Group, within internal and family medicine, podiatry, and in urgent care. We welcome Melanie to Gateway Medical Group; she will be a great asset to our group with her advanced clinical experience.
Melanie strives to provide the best healthcare possible and believes in building strong and long-lasting relations with her patients. She takes the time to listen to every patient and understands their needs.

Melanie is a mother of three adult children and has 4 grandchildren. When she is not caring for her patients, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, traveling, gardening, and having an interest in family genealogy.
