Samantha Richardson is a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Endocrinology with Gateway Medical Group.   She treats patients with various hormonal, metabolic, and diabetic issues.

“Caring for people has always been a part of who I am and becoming a Nurse Practitioner has allowed me to embrace that part of me,” Samantha said.  “I will listen to the patient as a person rather than just a number.  I work with them rather than just telling them what to do,” Samantha said.  “I understand their struggles as I also struggle with 2 of the biggest disorders I treat: diabetes and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).”

Samantha wants to make sure every patient is heard and that during their appointment their concerns are addressed.  “My biggest reward is seeing a person make progress towards their goals,” Samantha said.

Samantha believes in working with her patients to develop a treatment plan that works best for their lifestyle.
